Για 31η φορά απονεμήθηκαν τα βραβεία Golden Joysticks για τα κορυφαία παιχνίδια της χρονιάς, με μεγάλο νικητή το GTA V που κατέκτησε τον τίτλο “Game of the Year” αν και όταν διεξήχθη η ψηφοφορία δεν είχε κυκλοφορήσει ακόμα…

Σε άλλες αξιοσημείωτες αναφορές, το The Witcher 3 ψηφίστηκε ως το πιο πολυαναμενόμενο παιχνίδι για Xbox One και PS4, ενώ ο Ken Levine (BioShock) πήρε βραβείο για τη συνολική προσφορά του στο χώρο του gaming.
